Trip to the cloud forest

Today we traveled from the volcano area to the cloud forest area.
The trip started out with great boat trip that saved us about 2 hrs of driving. The boat ride was relaxing and the driver if the boat tried to make a site seeing trip too. Pulling into coves to show us birds and monkeys in the trees.

They docked the boat and we all crammed into mini van. 10 of us plus the driver.

The roads were very treacherous.
You could only go 5 to 10 mph.
In some places we crossed creeks by driving thru the shallow areas and almost got stuck in one of them.
We stopped at a roadside market / travel place. That was pretty interesting. The milk and eggs in the store were not refrigerated. It was one of the few places around for miles.

Um the guys bano is down there? Not going to lie. It was a little creepy walking down there to find the toilet.

It was the first time we drove on pavement on the trip. Our hotel was at the end of the paved road. The town is actually bigger than we thought it would be.
